Dental Radiology is the most important part of a dental procedure. In a published article 27.8% of dogs and 41.7% of cats had HIDDEN pathology that was only revealed after taking oral x-rays. A second report explains, oral x-rays reveal ADDITIONAL pathology in 50% of dogs and 53.9% of cats. However, most animals don’t provide full mouth oral x-rays with every cleaning because it takes too long and the patient is under anesthesia. Our trainees learn to expose full mouth oral x-rays in under 20 minutes in dogs and 10 minutes in cats, allowing their teams to find and treat more dental disease.
